Glen Johnson, PhD
Professor of English and Media Studies;
Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies

Ph.D., Indiana University

Publications include volumes in Journals, Notebooks, and Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson (Harvard and Missouri Univ. Presses) and Tim Miller: Rites and Rants (forthcoming from Univ. of Michigan Press). Dr. Johnson has published articles on 19th and 20th-century American literature, British fiction, canon formation, American film and popular culture, experimental literature and performance.

Dr. Johnson's research and teaching interests include practical aesthetics and rhetoric of mass media, technology and textuality, history and theory of narrative, American culture studies, and performance theory.
